Day 5: Vote for Best Data Collection
Students posted their ball bounce data and analysis on whiteboards yesterday. Today I asked students to pick the group with the best data collection and explain their choice. In one class, the 4 boards pictured were the most popular. Can you see why?
Students also sorted all 8 groups into categories by analysis method. Only 1 group this year made a graph (on their calculator). So tomorrow, groups will be taking data again (multiple trials over a wide range) and graphing by hand.
