Day 125: Bicycle Light Generators

Conceptual physics: First day of new unit on generators and diodes. Students looked at a bicycle light generator, identified important parts, and made observations about its operation. The bike was upside down on the lab table so students could pedal it using their hands.

    Fun 🙂 Next, they should take apart a hub generator & figure out why it’s so much more efficient. I’ve got one with a USB port on order 🙂

    This simple idea if students try to implement will improve their interest in Electronics.. Good one even for a minor School Project.. Thanks Frank
